About the Role
This is not a “let’s manage the sales pipeline and say kumbaya” type of role. Quidax is on the hunt for a VP of B2B Sales & Partnerships who can go toe-to-toe with enterprise buyers, navigate the messy realities of African markets, and build a high-performing revenue engine around our infrastructure.

You’re the person who will help us win the B2B payment rails battle and unlock diverse, sticky, high-margin revenue from African businesses across fintech, trade, logistics, payroll, remittances, and more.

You’ll build and lead the sales org, shape our GTM strategy, and close high-value enterprise partnerships that move us towards our 2026 goals.

Key Outcomes (First 6 - 12 Months)

Your success will be measured by what you deliver:

  • Enterprise Clients: Close and activate 10x enterprise clients by Q2 2026

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve 40x growth in B2B revenue run rate

  • Pipeline Predictability: Build a 2–4 month enterprise sales motion across multiple African markets

  • Strategic Partnerships: Secure 3-5 high-value partnerships (banks, fintechs, payment processors)

  • Team Performance: Build and scale a high-performing enterprise sales org of 50 - 70 sales professionals

  • Market Expansion: Successfully establish presence in West, East and South Africa

Success Metrics / KPIs

  • Active Enterprise Clients - 10x growth by Q2 2026

  • B2B Revenue - 40x run rate growth

  • Enterprise Pipeline Coverage - ≥4x revenue target

  • Strategic Partnerships - 3-5 partnerships contributing measurable revenue or access

  • GTM Execution - Sales playbooks, dashboards, scripts, and ops systems implemented

  • Team Performance - A scaled sales org hitting 80-100%+ of collective quota consistently

  • Market Expansion - Revenue contribution from at least 3 African markets, with one non-Nigerian market driving ≥20% of new revenue

Core Responsibilities (How You’ll Win)

  1. Enterprise Pipeline & Revenue Growth

    • Drive 40x+ revenue growth through high-quality, enterprise-grade deals.

    • Build a predictable 2–4 month enterprise sales motion across multiple African markets

  2. Sales Strategy & GTM Execution

    • Define and run the GTM engine for Africa: markets, verticals, pricing, packaging, and channel plays

    • Lock in high-LTV segments and drop deadweight that drains CAC

    • Build playbooks, dashboards, scripts, and ops systems for a world-class B2B revenue org

  3. Partnerships That Actually Matter

    • Close ecosystem partnerships that enable 10x throughput, licensing leverage, compliance automation, and banking rails.

    • Build a moat-strengthening partner network: settlement rails, PSPs, banks, regulators, and infra providers.

  4. Leadership of the Sales Org

    • Recruit, coach, and scale a 50–70-person enterprise sales org.

    • Create a culture of “we close, then we deliver” - no finicky deals that Product & Engineering will fight you over.

  5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Edge

    • Stay ahead of global infra players entering Africa.

    • Feed product and engineering with insights shaping API 3.0, white-label, compliance-as-a-service, and multi-currency settlement

    • Protect and expand our regulatory, banking, and operational moat.

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves

  • 8 - 12+ years in enterprise sales, partnerships, or BD across fintech, payments, crypto, B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or financial services

  • Proven experience selling APIs, payment rails, or infrastructure products to African businesses

  • Track record closing multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts and shortening complex sales cycles

  • Strong network among banks, fintechs, payment companies, remittance players, and high-growth African businesses

  • Operationally obsessive - dashboards, processes, funnels, conversions

  • Comfortable owning a revenue number, forecasting, and building GTM from zero to scale

  • Execution edge - tests, iterates, and closes fast

Reporting line

You’ll report directly to the CEO, partnering closely with the COO, Product, Engineering Marketing, Compliance, Finance leadership.
